Step by step

How to save from Twitch clips

  1. Copy the clip link

    Open the clip and use Share, then Copy link. Both clips.twitch.tv and twitch.tv/channel/clip/… links work.

  2. Paste it here

    ClipMagpie shows the Twitch icon when it recognises the clip.

  3. Pick quality

    Clips are saved up to the quality the stream was broadcast in.

  4. Save

    Tap Save file to get an MP4.

Clips only

ClipMagpie saves Twitch clips. Full past broadcasts (VODs) and live streams aren’t supported; clip the part you want on Twitch first, then paste the clip link.

Can I download a whole VOD?

No. Make a clip of the moment on Twitch, then save the clip here.

Can I save just the audio of a clip?

Yes. Choose Audio before you tap Get the file.

Do sub-only clips work?

Clips that need a login to view won’t work.
