Our promises

How it works

Three moves, no detours.

  1. 1

    Copy the share link

In any app, tap Share, then Copy link. On Android you can share straight to ClipMagpie once it’s installed.

  2. 2

    Paste and choose

We spot the service from the link. Pick Video, Audio or Mute; fine-tune quality and format if you like.

  3. 3

    Save the file

One tap on Save file. Posts with several items open as a grid with Download all.

Questions, answered

Is ClipMagpie free?

Yes. There’s no account, no premium tier and no download limit beyond a fair-use rate limit that keeps the server fast for everyone. In the future, clearly labelled ads may help pay for the server.

Do you keep the files I download?

No. Files stream from the source, through our server when needed, straight to you. Nothing is written to disk, and we don’t log which links you fetch.

Will there be a watermark?

We never add one. Some services (like TikTok) also keep a clean copy without their own watermark, and we ask for that one first.

Why did my link fail?

Usually because the post is private, deleted, age-restricted, region-locked, or the service is temporarily limiting our server. The error message tells you which. YouTube in particular is best-effort.

Can I save from private accounts?

No. ClipMagpie sees only what a logged-out visitor sees, and we never ask for your passwords.

Is downloading legal?

It depends on what you download and where you live. Save things you own, have permission to keep, or that are openly licensed, and keep it to personal use. See our terms for the details.

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes. On iOS the file opens in a new tab; tap the share icon and choose Save Video or Save to Files.
