Why Instagram sometimes says no
Instagram is strict with servers that aren’t phones. If a public post fails, try again in a minute. Private accounts never work: we only see what a logged-out visitor sees.

No, and we don’t ask for your Instagram login. Only public posts work.
What quality are reels saved in?
The best version Instagram serves, usually 720p or 1080p MP4. Instagram compresses everything on upload, so the original phone recording isn’t available to anyone.
Can I save the music from a reel?
Choose Audio and you’ll get the reel’s soundtrack. That’s the audio as it plays in the reel, not a separate music file.
Do stories work?
Sometimes. Instagram usually requires a login to view stories, so expect them to fail more often than reels and posts.
