Can I save snaps from my chats?

No. Private snaps never leave Snapchat’s app, and we wouldn’t want them to.

Does the creator see that I saved it?

No. Fetching a public Spotlight link doesn’t notify anyone.

Why did a story fail?

Stories expire after 24 hours, and some are visible only to friends.
