We respect creators. ClipMagpie doesn’t host, index or cache any media: every file is fetched on request from the service where it was published and streamed straight to the person who asked. There’s no library of content on our side to take down.
Even so, if you’re a rights holder and believe ClipMagpie is being used to infringe your copyright, we want to hear from you and will respond promptly.
What we can do
- Cut off abusers. We can block people or networks that use ClipMagpie to infringe, and restrict or switch off support for a source where it’s being misused.
- Point you to the source. Because we store nothing, the content disappears from ClipMagpie as soon as it’s removed from the platform that hosts it (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, etc.). A notice to that platform removes it for everyone, and we’re happy to help you find the right channel.
Sending a notice
Email copyright@clipmagpie.com with:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- The exact URL(s) of the content on the original service that you want blocked from ClipMagpie.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We aim to reply within 3 business days. Notices that are incomplete or clearly abusive may be rejected.
Counter-notice
If you believe a link was blocked by mistake (for example, it’s your own content), email the same address with the URL, an explanation, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the block was a mistake. We’ll review it and may restore access.
Repeat abuse
Accounts or networks that repeatedly misuse ClipMagpie to infringe copyright may be blocked from the service.
